November Photos 2019

Having managed to miss Autumn with bad weather and lack of motivation to find new photo locations, here are a some of the Digital Art edits I have been doing to keep busy in the dark cold evenings.

Old path leading through the kissing gate to Dolbadarn Castle stands on a rocky hill some eighty feet above Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris in the Llanberis Pass between Caernarfon and Snowdonia North Wales, UK. The 13th century Castle is listed as a World Heritage Site.
Amlwch Port is located on the northern coastline of Anglesey North Wales. Today the harbour is used for leisure craft and a small fishing industry that includes fishing trips and lobster and crab fishing in the Irish Sea. There is little sign that in the 1800’s Amlwch Port was the world’s most important exporter of copper. Amlwch lighthouse tower situated on the outer pier was erected in 1853
Lake Ogwen, Snowdonia North Wales, UK. The lake is surrounded by high mountains, including Pen yr Ole Wen and Tryfan, considered to be one of the finest mountains in Wales.

St Cwyfan is known as the Church in the Sea. It is to be found on a small tidal island called Cribinau located off the west coast of Anglesey and close to the village of Aberffraw. Also known as Llangwyfan the church can be reached on foot at low tide. The present building is said to date back to the 12th or 13th Century

Pont Fawr a narrow three-arch stone bridge, It is said to have been designed by Inigo Jones and it was built in 1636 by Sir John Wynn of Gwydir Castle. Originally built to carry horses and carts.
The worlds first Iron Bridge built over the river Severn in 1779. Built to a design by architect Thomas Farnolls Pritchard and cast at the Coalbrookdale ironworks of Abraham Darby III The site was designated ‘World Heritage’ by UNESCO in 1986, in recognition of its major role in the birth of the industrial revolution in the early 18th century. Ironbridge, Shropshire, England.
Alwen Reservoir or Cronfa Alwen is a 5km long reservoir near Pentre-Llyn-Cymmer in the county borough of Conwy, North Wales, UK 27 metre high Dam. The reservoir and dam were constructed between 1909 and 1921, the dam is a gravity-arch masonry dam.

1979 the former Sealink passenger ferry The Duke of Lancaster was beached on the banks of the River Dee near Mostyn in North Wales. Until it was converted into a car ferry, this was one of the finest vessels afloat. The first class quarters in the late fifties and early sixties were the best around, silver service restaurants, state rooms and luxurious cabins.

  1. nice job many nice photos in this post. Love a lot the ancient chapel window photo as well as the boat in the last photo. Good job. Many other photos as good as well but i would write a whole article if a had to tell what i like in each one. Have a nice week end.
