Marine Lake is a man-made reservoir. The grounds of Marine Lake are open all year and spot some of the wildlife, or have a ride on the Miniature Railway, the oldest in the UK and operated by Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust (external website).

I especially like the obits of the rain and the one of the boat with the sun shining in just the right spot. I hope you’re having a good weekend. How’s your Dad doing? Mine passed away just two weeks ago so life’s very different now.
