Weekly Photo Challenge: Against the Odds

The theme of this week’s photo challenge is Against the Odds: Maybe it’s a photo of an unlikely occurrence. Maybe it’s the photo itself that goes against the odds — a shot you never thought you’d get. Maybe it’s a photo of something you’re not sure you’ll be able to do.

Or maybe i will just Wing It and hope for the best lol

Ruins at Cwmorthin
Looking down over the lake at the ruins at Cwmorthin Slate Quarry, near the town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales, UK

Cwmorthin Slate Ruins
Against the odds of rain at the ruins of the Cwmorthin Slate Quarry, a substantial disused slate mine found on the shores of Cwmorthin lake above the town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales, UK.
Decorative Gate Snowdonia
Against the odds of getting a people free photo at the decorative Iron Gate, the gate leads to Idwal lake and the Devils Kitchen, with Tryfan Mountain to the left. Snowdonia national park, north Wales,UK
Tryfan Snowdonia
Against the odds the clouds broke and Sunbathed Tryfan mountain was visible. One of the most famous and recognisable peaks in Britain, having a classic pointed shape with rugged crags. At 917.5 m above sea level it is the fifteenth highest mountain in Wales. The top of Tryfan looks like a face looking up, with the mouth on the left then the nose and eyebrows Winter at the Snowdonia National Park, north Wales, UK
Llandudno Pier
Against the odds of breaking my neck on the slippery rocks i managed to get a long exposure image of the Llandudno Pier, a seaside resort on the coast of North Wales, UK. At 2,295 ft the pier is the longest in Wales and the fifth longest in England and Wales
Conwy Castle
Against the odds of being bitten by a medieval vampire i took this night photograph of Conwy Castle, Conwy Castle dominates the mouth of the River Conwy and the walled town of Conwy in North Wales, UK The castle was built on the orders of King Edward I of England and construction began in 1283. Today the castle is one of the best preserved castles in the whole of North Wales.
