Devils Kitchen, named because it looks like a chimney, and in olden days when there was cloud on the mountains it looked like smoke coming out of the chimney, and it was said that it was the devil cooking.
Cwm Idwal is a very popular attraction for visitors interested in walking, climbing, fishing and geology.
Cwm Idwal is a national nature reserve, and one of the few places in Britain where the Snowdon Lilly can be found. It is an area to be treated with extra special respect. It is an area which is home to lots of wildlife, north Wales, UK

  1. These are all wonderful Adrian – and I kept wondering which would be my favorite after I’d seen them all. But no contest, those feral horses are fantastic. LOVE the way you caught the wind blowing the mane. Well done!!

  2. Your photographs are absolutely breathtaking taking . There is so much drama in a single shot . I’ve been checking your other posts and they are all irresistible. Absolute work of art and I can’t imagine the effort gone into each snap shot. Bravo!
