Weekly Photo Challenge: Weight(less)

In response to the Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Weight(less)

Examples being – a photo of something marked by its weight β€” or its air of weightlessness. Show us gravity at its most unforgiving, or most generous. Bricks or feathers. A collapsed ruin or a plane taking off. A heavy piece of old furniture or the flying buttresses of a cathedral.

So i was thinking boats floating, an old building or maybe a plane or two …

  1. As always, gorgeous photographs! I especially love the cathedral. Whenever I enter one my soul begins to feel weightless. Those architects knew what they were doing when they built such beautiful buildings for worship.

  2. Stunning photos Adrian! I particularly love the Cathedral ones – they are awesome. There’s something about ‘old’ architecture that ‘talks’ to me. Can’t explain it but they capture 100% of my attention. Thank you for sharing them πŸ™‚

  3. NYC is a wonder, but I always like the country best. I’m visiting Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho) for the first time in late April. Your photos of Asia make a trip in that direction tempting. My favorite of this batch, though, is of the stunning sky and countryside of northern Wales. I’m hosting a garden trip to southern Wales in June and am very much looking forward to seeing that part of the UK.

  4. Ahem… You seem to be mildly successful… LOL! I love the Cathedral and the aerobatic team equally, almost, so I’ll have to say they’re my two favorites! They’re all good images Adrian… I’m impressed! You’re also fueling my inspiration πŸ™‚
